- Is Kyurations free?
- Yes. There is no paid tier, no cap on how much you save, and nothing described on this site is held back behind a subscription. You can export your whole collection at any time. Curators can put a price on a list they publish, so a collection somebody else built may cost money, but building and publishing your own never does.
- Can I read articles inside Kyurations?
- Yes. An article or a PDF opens in the app, set in its own type with the page furniture gone, and it remembers where you stopped. Saved through the browser extension, the text is captured from the page you are already signed in to, so a paywalled or login-walled piece arrives whole rather than as a stub. You highlight as you read, and each quote stays attached to the item. There is no offline mode and no unread count.
- Can I import my bookmarks from Chrome, Pocket or Raindrop?
- Yes. Settings takes the file they gave you and reads it as-is: a bookmarks file from Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or Arc, or an export from Raindrop, Pocket, Instapaper, Pinboard, Omnivore or Notion. Your folders arrive as draft lists rather than finished ones, so nothing lands in a collection pretending you curated it. Readwise imports separately and brings your highlights attached to the piece they came from. Export runs the other way and is complete.
- Can Claude or ChatGPT read what I have saved?
- Yes. Kyurations runs an MCP server, so Claude, Cursor and any other MCP client can search, read, save, tag, organise and publish on your behalf from wherever you already work. You generate the endpoint and a token in Settings. Inside the app, Ask Kyuri answers from the same collection and cites the items it used, so you can check the claim. A general model answers from what it was trained on; this answers from what you decided was worth keeping.
- How is this different from a bookmark manager?
- A bookmark manager is built so you can find a link again. Kyurations is built so a set of links becomes something you would show someone. Saves arrive as cards shaped like their source, lists form themselves out of what you save, and any list publishes as a page under your handle.
- Can other people see what I save?
- Only what you publish. Everything is private by default. A list becomes visible when you set it to public, and public lists can be found in search, which is the point of publishing one.
- Do I need the browser extension?
- No, you can paste a link into the app. The extension makes saving one click from any page, it captures the article text from the page you are already signed in to, and it is where clipped regions come from. Highlights you can also make in the reader.
- What happens to my collection if I stop using it?
- You export it and it leaves with you, in full. Nothing about your collection is sold to data brokers, and private collections are not training material.
- Does it work with videos, threads and repos, or only articles?
- All of them. A YouTube video, a GitHub repo, a Spotify album, an X thread, a product page, a PDF, a voice note. Each one renders in the shape of where it came from instead of collapsing into an identical grey row.
